About Mark Roberts
As the holidays would approach, I would constantly be asking my mother the questions only an inquisitive 4 or 5 year old would ask. Surely, I could not understand how Santa could fly all around the world with presents for everyone and everywhere…and get it all done in one night! Pretty soon, mom had a Fairy to answer all my little questions. She answered them with the same drama and exuberance she used when telling me my favorite bedtime story, “ Little Boy Kneels”. “It’s the Stocking Fairy who helps Santa fill all the stockings, the Poinsettia Fairy makes all the poinsettia flowers bloom in the cold December snow, the Candy Cane Fairy makes all the candy canes red and white because those are Santa’s favorite colors, the Snowflake Fairy sprinkles the sky with his magic and all the snowflakes fall to the ground.” I would ask her, “but how come I can’t see the Fairies mommy?” And she would say, “you just have to believe they’re out there, they are so tiny and quick that in the blink of an eye, they’re gone.”

In 1989 she died prematurely from cancer and I clearly understood what she meant by “in the blink of an eye, they’re gone”. I understood that just because you can’t see something, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. I found that life is not only precious, but also sacred. The magic of life that surrounds us each and every day is there for us to reach out and find. And since opportunity does not always wait for us, life should be celebrated NOW.

Today, I find my Fairies to be the most rewarding part of my business and my personal life. I thank all of you for your overwhelming support and belief in the magic it can bring into our lives!
